Typically from my 14 yrs of practicing qdm. 7.5 yrs old is where they peak out their antlers. Last fall arrowd a 7.5 yr old 10 ptr 128 inches. Looking at the difference between 5.5 to 7.5. Big difference.

Why do people say 3.5 year old deer? 4.5 year old deer? 6.5 year old deer? Do you say your kid is 5.5 years old? Lol We all know deer are born in the spring obviously they’re whatever year plus a half so it makes no sense
