I dont blame them. Beterbiev is slow but he fights at his own tempo and clubs with his shots. Hes a specialist in knocking everyones equilibrium off with shots to the top of the head and behind the ears.

Looks like he could damage his wrists with that lumberjack type punching but I love it. 😂 He's cut down all styles against dudes with better speed and technique than himself. Definitely one of my favourite fighters at this current time along with Stevenson and Crawford. I'm intrigued to see if it works against Bivol once he gets past Smith which I believe he will.

a bunch of sparing partner tough beterbiev is slow until they are in the ring. yarde said he is slow but beterbiev was faster. Beterbiev has a lot of skills... but the peoples see only power. On Ring Magazine amateur record is 295-5. Impossible to have this record with only power

@@kickerse13he’s actually very technical if you look at his amateur fights. But with his heavy hands, he clubs you instead of using his waist to generate power. Like subriel Matias and Bivol, he throw arms punches. Instead of loading by rotating his waist/hips like Canelo or Tank

Every sparring experience from every fighter who has sparred him has a simular story & this is going back years. Some people just naturally hit extremely hard regardless of how they're put together physically, they just have it & if they become professional fighters, this is what you get. There are naturals in every sport that just have that special sauce, Messi, Renaldo etc just born to do it

​@@TheShowOff2I Usyk was smaller back then, and Beterbiev hasn't changed much since then. Additionally, styles make fights, and Usyk's style is a bit difficult for Beterbiev. He handled well, but it was not easy. Regarding AJ, Beterbiev's chin is good but not legendary. He has been dropped before and could be dropped again, especially in HW, so I don't favor a match-up against AJ. However, AJ struggles against pressure fighters, and Beterbiev is the best pressure fighter in the game right now. Despite this, the margin of error for Beterbiev is small, given his chin isn't legendary. A fight against DuBois would be a good test for Beterbiev in the HW
