That's an unfair statement. Yes women's cricket is getting what they deserve now. But that's because of the improvement the girls have shown. They weren't short changed before. It was just that women's cricket was absolutely underwhelming to watch before. But they've improved their fitness and power and the overall appeal of the game. Also, WPL had crazy viewership this time.

I am a hard core RCB fan but i didn't watch a single match because i didn't had hope we'll win the tournament....even after knowing that RCB reach the final i still didn't watch(superstitious beliefs) until we needed 14 runs in 16 balls... I love how Nas and Ath, don’t dial it in. They’re proper thinking journos who understand the game. They understand that the game is different to the one they played. There’s never once a “it was better in my day” comment. I hope the continue to lead the cricket coverage for a long time yet. Also Kate Cross is an absolute belter. What an authentic communicator. She lets you into a world in a way that professional sports people are not supposed to. Very good.

I enjoy seeing the women’s game develop, and why shouldn’t the top players earn good money, the danger is that old chestnut of will it be dominated by the big three. Perhaps the T20 leagues will become more preeminent in the long term. Crazy Heath and Gibson were denied a chance to play in the BBL final, so they could sit around in an orange bib in India spectating.

Look they are taking 41 year old Anderson, a useless injury prone Ollie Robinson and an injury prone Mark Wood. No love for the younger guys like Potts or tounge. And how are these guys gonna improve if we don’t blood them. Yes they’ve taken young spinners but you need to take different faster bowlers aswell. Cos by the next ashes in 25/26 Anderson will be gone, Woakes and Wood Might be gone and Robinson won’t be in the England team. So need to start planning for the ashes down under straight away.

They selected Gus Atkinson who is a white ball bowler, I saw him in odi against West Indies, and he was looking very tired in 6th or 7th over, and throwing fulltoss only, he is really good in t20s and decent in ODIs, but he have to play domestic for red ball.
