When he arrived he told him he was playing in his son: Simon's Sunday league team as their goalkeeper could not make it. lol He played. The club got fined £50 for playing a Ringer and Cloughie deducted the £50 from the goalie's next wages

Great honest manager and well said, managers need time, that is what brings stability and success hopefully but give the manager and team time. Unfortunately football clubs and those running them want instant success and worst of all the supporters and fans now want the same. I've supported Sunderland since 1973 and good or bad I've been there for the club, team and managers throughout.....that's what a real supporter is and does.

Absolutely well said Dean. That’s exactly the Corinthians way, win lose or draw the fans sing, get behind and celebrate their teams men and women in all sports. Another example, we just saw the greatest sporting event ever at the Paralympics. The Parisians and the supporters from all over the world created the best atmosphere for all athletes involved. The French didn’t care whether or not their athletes medaled, they still partied and made one almighty noise with songs, chants and celebration for everyone that competed.
