UEFA have been forced to ask players to stop removing sponsor bottles from press conferences after a bottle-snatching trend started this week.
Ronaldo started the fashion at a pre-game news conference by hiding two Coca-Cola bottles and replacing them with a bottle of water.
Paul Pogba, who is Muslim and does not drink alcohol, objected to the distinctive green bottle of official Euro 2020 beer sponsor Heineken.
Next, Manuel Locatelli removed the same pair of Coca-Cola bottles away from the view of cameras in his post-match press conference.
A drop in Coca-Cola's share price this week was attributed by some to Ronaldo's snub, but there was no evidence the two were linked.
Since then, players and coaches from Euro 2020 have joined the trend of the tournament.

About time someone did something. I'm fed up of seeing Sky Sports have their team advertise gambling in the adverts in-between football when children and young adults are watching; normalising gambling that ruins lives. It's one reason why I've just cancelled my sub after 12yrs.

@@aryanbhaskar6502 Okay, I get the impression that you don't deal with stocks. Companies such as Apple, Amazon, Coca Cola Beverages, ExxonMobil, etc, they deal with billions and billions of dollars each day. Even when the stock dips 1% or 2%, that stock will "lose" billions of dollars. Same as if they were to go up 1 or 2%. Do you understand? But that does not mean they are going bankrupt or are in big trouble. It's business. Coca Cola stock has been up and down for decades. They are healthy and not going bankrupt anytime soon. I'm not so sure you understand.
