Good punditry is more about personality and charisma than anything else because pretty much any avid football fan can give a valid opinion on football-related matters. And that's what punditry technically is - opinions. For example, a movie-critic and a movie-pundit are very different types of professions. An actual critical analysis of the game would be much more stats-focused than it is now.

Why not use 10-0-0 then? The best formation (if these games are still like they were 5-10 years ago) is 3-6-1 though. 3 Cbs, 2 Wing backs, 2 Dms, 2 CAM and one CF. Set your team to play through the middle.

And in Championship manager 01/02 version it doesn't matter what formation. Just set your forward to mark their goalkeeper and he'll get 10 goals a game, 5 will be dissalowed for offside though lol. But you still score bags more goals overall.
