We need to remember, the style of play and players used feeds right down the levels at LFC from the 1st team down to U18's, etc. These young players have been taught the Klopp system so they can seamlessly fit into the 1st team when their chance comes. Slot plays very similar football and uses similar formations. It makes absolute sense to me as if Amorim or even Alonso came in, it would have meant a step away from the current type of football we have come to expect from LFC. It might still change under Slot or whoever but it will be a more gradual change than an immediate jolt to the system. This all makes sense to me and above all else, Arne Slot seems like a decent human being which means a hell of a lot after having Klopp.
