Where Unai Emery's tactics resulted in Villa almost completely snuffing out Man City's goal threat and out-played City at their own game. The stats for that game between the two clubs were insane and shocked everyone. It finished only 1-0 to Villa, but really should have been much more. Shots on goal were 22 vs 2 in favour of Villa. More impressive was how they managed to almost completely nullify one of the best attacking line-ups in the Premier League. That's never really happened to that extent to Pep before. It showed that Emery is capable of out-playing a vastly superior team, in terms of the quality of players each manager had available to them.

I got laughed at on here for predicting a top 4 finish for them before last season kicked off. I've predicted they'll go furthest in champions league this season out of the English teams that are in.
