G'day! Thanks for the supportive feedback! And no, i dont use filters. The only filter i do currently own is a Simple Skywatcher Moon filter, and a solar filter for my 60mm refractor. Thanks for the question!

I wanna ask you, is it possible to observe a planets, nebulae and galaxies with only using a 60mm refractor? and also, very cool video :)

@@Starlii_ My second scope was a 60mm Refractor about 600mm long. I could see the bigger planets like Jupiter and Saturn, but the others were much harder to see details. You can still see Venus and Mars, though Venus looks like the crescent moon and not much detail, and Mars you'd still be able to see the bright orange of the surface.

So I was wanting to ask this question, how good are the views to the naked eye of these deep space objects on a 130mm telescope?

I have well Collimated 130mm reflector.....but i cant see orion nebula like this .....?? why....? Is the use of camera is compulsory for this images ? can we see only through telescope ?

Orion will be much easier to see to the eye under extremely dark skies and good seeing conditions, even in smaller scopes. I need a camera to bring out good detail due to living near the city.

can you get these sorta views with any 130mm scope? i have a celestron 130mm reflector but havnt used it. english weather is crap lol

Any reflector would produce the same views, unless of course you had an Astrograph. The images in the slideshow were all obtained with with a camera, so looking at these with the naked eye wouldn't be as as colourful and detailed, but definitely visible.

I used a canon Ixus digital camera, and simply attached it to an eyepiece :)

It really depends on where you are located, with most telescopes a really dark sky is required to see deep sky. for me, i live next to a major international airport and light is scattered across the north sky, so i dont get a lot of deep sky images from my house. i like to take my telescope to my beach house which is a two hour drive south, away from the city.

So overall, the 130mm is good for deep space, and great for planets and the moon. also if you have a camera that takes exposures, this can bring out a lot more detail from what you would see! the vies are awesome

When I had this small digital camera I had a 25mm attached to the camera for imaging :) Now that i have a dslr, all I need is a Barlow with a thread :)
