Yes. Thanks for the advice. It worked!!! I'm in my place watching the latest episode of W5 (investigative journalism) and my remote would not function at all. Changed the batteries, turned the T.V. on and off (and power bar), etc and it still did not work. I was looking online for a solution. After I tried those buttons and put the batteries back in it worked again.

Hey, great advise and it definitely helped me diagnose my issue. It was dirty buttons, but I had to go one step further to solve my problem. I used pressurized brake cleaner to get right into my remote and quickly blew the cleaner dry with compressed (low pressure) air. Works fine now, I did order a new replacement remote just in case it fails again. Wish me luck, and I’ll update this post if it continues to function for a duration.
