Though the ROOF for Ghost of Yoetei 💜💜!! I don’t know why but paired with the music and presentation it really felt like Red Dead Tsushima 2 😂 I really hope it is !! (Morality systems, reputation, etc :))

Ghost of Yōtei is set in Mount Yōtei, Japan, in 1603, which takes place around 329 years after the events of the first game.

So this is set approximately 400 years after Ghost of Tsushima (2020) and just three years after Shogun (2024) for comparison. Yōtei refers to Mount Yōtei, a prominent mountain located on Hokkaidō, Japan's second-largest island, situated just north of the mainland. Also I loved the parallel between the music and Spaghetti Westerns, which themselves were inspired by Samurai films. Massive Ennio Morricone's vibes with spaghetti westerns but with a Japanese spin. Having this and GTA VI in the same year is insane! Hopefully, they release far apart, because I don’t think I’ll have the time for both. I doubt any game will want to launch alongside GTA VI, considering how it’s bound to break all sales records and overshadow any release in the following months. Edit: Corrected it to 2020. Idk why I thought 2018 lol

@@TeakbumblbeeAnd that bothers you why? I have over 3K hours on Tsushima and as much as I would love to see Jin again I’m not mad about a new character & setting. I think if they used Jin again to continue his story then it could feel too similar to the first game. They can always go back to Jin in the game after this or later down the line to wrap up his story. It’s nice to see an anthology being created out of the Ghost series so that it won’t be repetitive with every new installment

Why do so many people put woke in quotations marks like its not a thing? When tons of people say their woke, even Kalama say she is. Yeah but just because they might existed doesn't mean they where good or remarkable. If you watch the reaction of most gamers about this game, its women and you can see the misandry in there eyes. Well all the bad guys be men or will their be female ones as well? It also don't help that so many female leads have destroyed franchise. Look at star wars.

I lived in Sapporo (90km from Mt. Yotei) for 4 years and must admit I never climbed it, perhaps because we went to onsen on the weekend. However, I did climb Mt. Fuji when I lived in Tokyo, which gave me the most spectacular view of the night sky I’ve ever seen, the stars being so close and vivid. I wonder how the Ainu are going to be integrated into the game - friendly or foe?

This is the best day of 2024 for sure! I’ve played GoT since release day and currently have over 2500hrs in this game. I have been waiting for at least a teaser but we got an entire trailer and it’s releasing next year!!!! I am beyond happy. ❤

I don’t know if you will see this Sky, but first of I wanna thank you for your playthrough. Ghost is one of my fav games, and I am glad you are enjoying it as well. This reveal though I certainly wasn’t expecting. And how it comes on a day like today it’s extra special. On August 27th, not even a month ago I lost my mom. And on this state of play day (Sep 24th) it was supposed to be her birthday. To experience so much joy over a game on a day like today, is very strange. Because obviously today was an emotional and strange day. It almost feels wrong in a way to feel happy and excited. It’s a very strange contradiction of life. Obviously losing someone that close, there is no comparison. But games give me so much joy, and comfort. And experiencing that with others makes it even more special. Idk like I said it’s wild. I don’t really know what I am feeling right now, but all I wanna say is thank you for these playthroughs Sky. They do more than you think. And I can’t fucking wait for this game! Games are special.

Maybe it’s just me but the further away we get from GTA 5 the more I don’t really care about GTA 6. This could be Sucker Punch's version of what Souls games are to Fromsoftware. As in a new "Ghost of X" with each entry. Dope that they're doing Hokkaido in the north, I always liked it especially because of the snow. Hopefully one day with get a game taking place in Okinawa. Japan has so much history that they can just point at a map in Japan and make a story built around it.

For me It’s been about 10 years waiting for Dragon Age The Veilguard can’t wait for it on October. A few games I’m keeping an eye on for release is; Unknown 9 Awakening, Chrono Odyssey, Marvel’s Wolverine, Assassin’s Creed Shadow, and rumors for the new mass effect in the future, this game looks really good as well. I’ve also heard rumors about Ghost of Tsushima 2 that it’s still in development for a potential 2025 release. but I wouldn’t count it out maybe another 2 or 3 years from now. I’ve also heard that a lot of PS3 games are going to have remakes. Also games from like 2005-2006 might get remade as well they probably will just take longer for them to be released.

It looks great Sky and haven’t played Ghost Of Tsushima either, which is partly why I’ve been enjoying your gameplay of it and why I keep saying it blows me away every time I see it being played. I will get it eventually, a friend of mine can’t speak anymore highly of this game and I think he’d like this one coming out as well, he’s currently playing Ronin or Rise Of Ronin(one of the 2😂). Hopefully you’ll have as horse as Sora when you get to play this game😂.

Oh cool, this is the first I'm hearing about this! You would pronounce it more like "Yo-tay". Vowels in Japanese pretty much only have one sound: A as in fAther, I as in Igloo, U as in flUke, E as in End, O as in bOat (kind of). It's actually three syllables (yo-te-i with a long "o" sound) but the pronunciation of each syllable is not affected by the ones before or after. Hope this helps! Once you get used to the vowel sounds and the syllable structure, it's pretty easy to figure out how to pronounce new Japanese words and names fairly accurately.
