I think I know why you take damage in the swamp cave. The devs probably implemented some sort of poisonous swamp gas that is toxic to humans. I saw in the spotlight that players were using SCUBA tanks. This may keep you safe from the gases. Thumbs up so people can see.

Got through the snow cave with my brothers yesterday evening with several hundred rockets and just primitive armor. Had fortitude close to 40 and placed stone structures to provide protection throughout. Fria curry is recommended as well as placing stone foundations to limit future spawning. Medical brews are a must, goodluck!

Here are some tips for the snow cave: -You'll need a lot of people (Me and my tribe went in with 6 people and 4 made it to the artifact, the other 2 didn't have sleeping bags in the cave and couldn't get back in because stuff had respawned) -Take dimorphodons with you! (Dimorphodon army or every player just has one on their shoulder to deal extra damage) +(for every dimo you take in you'll be able to grab an extra artifact) -Don't rush it, go in slowly, always plan ahead -Take resources for crafting sleeping bags on the go with you (pre-crafted are too heavy) and place one every now and then -The water in the cave hurts you when you touch it and there's tons of piranhas so just stay away from it -You'll definitely need some custom recipe consumables to heal you (we had dodo/compy egg drinks which refill 300 health over time. You'll also need some for food) -Take multiple instances of fria curry with you (helps against the cold) -You'll need multiple backup sets of armor -Bear traps are useful -Shotguns and crossbows - We had all about 400 arrows each and like 150 shotgun bullets -The cave is really long -Consider using mindwipe tonics to rearrange your stats -Shoot enemies from where they can't hit you -Run in circles to not get caught by bats -We didn't use them but grappling hooks are probably also a good idea I don't know what kind of armor is best yet. We all had flak, the cold is not the problem in that cave, with the custom consumables you can regenerate your health. But maybe fur armor works too. We just didn't want to farm all the fur for that and we had a bunch of flak just laying around. (Most of it was apprentice) Sorry for the wall of text :P EDIT: Did the cave a second time. We had about 20 dimorphodons with us. 8 of them died in the end but they were a great help. They kill the wolves and bats easily but the yetis are a big danger. This time went way better. We only had about 5 player deaths and got some awesome loot along with about a dozen more artifacts. Took us a ton of bullets again though. We also used some spike walls to get a quick advantage over wolves and yetis. I have to say doing the cave was so much fun, every high level player who doesn't have anything better to do should try it.

Dodge Miriage No, the artifacts you get from there currently don't have any use (besides bragging rights and they look cool on the trophy base) and the broodmother is summoned with the same stuff as before. But that will change in the future,

Hey slip, was thinking of a way to make harvesting the dams easier when the beaver are still there. you could build a wall cutting the pond in half with a dino door in the middle, then make the beavers mad and move them to the empty side and lock them in. and just swap sides each time you harvest.

Hey slip im a huge supporter of you channel ik u needed to know what you needed for the swamp cave and the armor you need is full scuba except for the gloves. For gloves you will need ghillie gloves. The reason you need scuba for swamp cave is because of the poision gas. And the ghille gloves because because it reduces heat. Thats what you need and keep up the stuff and things!

Slip your home base is prime location for bunny dodos, just kill all dodos and other stuff, loop around and check for fresh spawns. They usually spawn in a pack of 5 and one tends to be bunny. I collected 12 (9 females)and killed off few males as well. Playing SP and so far got 11 eggs, but two vanished (bug). Anyway your base and beach (till 2nd river delta) heading to red obelisk is what did it for me.

Swamp cave isn't too bad in a group. We got knocked unconscious a few times but when we were down the others were able to protect us. We went with scuba legs, tank and mask with Ghillie boots and gloves. Had enduro and Lazarus for the melee and hp regen boost. Snow cave though... Those yetis and wolves are TOUGH. We actually lead baby sabers/dire wolves into the cave and raised them there, and even incubated a few terror birds inside. It's a little cheaty with Dinos but still tough.

Sl1pg8r you need the scuba gear and ghillie suit for the swamp cave, I guess they are going with the whole "air filled with deadly polens" aproach and the scuba gear may act as an hazmat suit (the ones use for contaminated areas) you should try, unless the new cave is just broken

We got to the artifact of the strong after a couple hours running around basically naked in the snow cave. Getting it out... well, maybe someday. Our strat is to go in naked, build a bed about a third of the way in, then build a ramp (need foundation, wall, and two ramps) to bypass big room with ice platforms, then gotta build a base on big jumps, then... well... gotta get those enemies out of the last part of the cave.
