Pilots don't get enough respect for what they do. People treat them like bus drivers. They are handling complicated dangerous machines with lives at stake all the time. They have to make split second decisions and be committed and highly confident. If I have the opportunity I always try to thank the pilot of my flight for getting us there safely and if it was a nice smooth fast trip...that was a bonus. ✈✈✈✈✈✈✈

That is a great view of the entire airport during the west turn immediately after take-off. It's amazing how quickly jet aircraft reach 10,000 feet when departing from high altitude airports like DEN or ABQ. The mountains are great of course - at both cities. But I replayed the portion from spool up to 10,000 over and over just to see that airport view. DEN sure is a sprawling complex.

Denver is the second largest airport in the world, based on land area. This does mean you often have LONG taxies.

Thanks thanks my friend. Yes, an iPhone 11 Pro is my primary camera. I have the largest version with 512 GB. 4K video takes up a lot of space. I have 56,000 GB of external hard drives just to store all of the footage to see in my channel. As for recording. I hold the camera by hand. I do not use any type of mount.

That was just clouds rolling in off the Pacific. In my experience the smog looks more like haze then clouds.

The marine layer from the pacific, normal weather for the summer. The hazy air under the cloud layer is a mix of haze and smog, especially inland.
