as a die hard slade fann 52 years and still counting, any bit showing slade live is a bonus, they were the best live group of the 70,s early 80,s by a mile sadly never to be repeated

I saw Slade for the first time about 69/70, became a massive fan instantly, by far the best live band i ever saw and i have seen them all over the years, and what a front man they had in Noddy Holder, his voice was spot on live.

They were probably the biggest band around in the "Glam" scene. I didn't see them live until 1979 but WOW! what a live band!. Amazing.

Chas billed them on The Glam Scene, which was a mistake, as they were straight out hard rockers & once the Glam stuff went down, so did Slade for a while. Do you know what became of Johnny Howells???
