Slammed, Chopped, and Notched: Zac's C10 Squarebody Gets LOW

It's more or less a proven fact: hanging around the Donut Garage directly results in lower ride heights, no matter what you drive. In this case, Zac takes his Chevy C10 chopper hauler and gets it real low to the ground with a lowering kit from Belltech - and gets some fresh kicks to finish off the look. We approve.

Two things. 1 Weld the step notch to the frame. 2 Put helper bags in the back so you don't bottom out on the frame with a bike in the back. Better yet, 4 link it with bags. That will eliminates axle wrap during burnouts, will ride better than leafs, and you can air out to drop the tailgate to load bikes.

There's a plenty clean trucks out east ! I just bought a 69 C-10 short out of South Carolina and rode my motorcycle 800mi from Arkansas a week ago with a mild 28°to 50°F the entire way. That's what you'll struggle to find this time of year is Californias 75° weather! But I'd rather ride in 32° than 92° anyway. Will do the return trip with both in about a week. Probably the smokin deal I got on the truck that's keeping me warm....

I did the same thing on my 77 long bed c10! I bought drop spindles for the front and cut the springs. for the back i mounted new spring perches and notched the frame for bags! (bags coming soon)
