Very thankful to learn of the drop D, having owned both true colours and the live album LPs for about 20 years. I was unable to make that connection on my own.

Nice request , I like this groove , Mark King is awesome. Davey your bass looks new is this a different bass than the other. You play this grove very well & explain to where it's easy to understand. Thanks.

Thanks for another great lesson Davey! This song has always been my nemesis....meaning out of all the MK bass lines, this one has been the hardest for me to learn. Actually, I gave up on it about 15 years ago. I was a lot younger and less patient then I suppose. I've been playing now for 25 years and thanks to you, can finally play this song. Do you know off the top of your head how many songs MK uses a drop D tuning? I can only think of a couple Chant, Physical Presence, and one other one that slips my mind at the moment.
