When I first watched one of your videos I thought " this guy is way too slick and corny" but I came back for a few pedal demos and I think it was on one of the JHS videos that you played something ridiculously sick and tasty, so I thought " ok, he hams it up for the camera but is a great musician, cool" but watching you in some of these thomann videos, hanging with Ryan and your own- I realized you are actually not putting it on at all, you're truly a very enthusiastic, really cool guy. It makes me happy to see this side of you, you have so much fun playing, and of course, you are am excellent player. Big ups. (Edit- was mulling over what I wrote here after I left for work and realized how insulting that might have come across as, sorry, When, I said corny/slick... It's just that you have some pretty slick production value on your channel and my first perception of you're uber enthusiasm, coupled with that slickness, was that you were pitching us stuff, which I guess you are... Ahhh....anyway... *scary sound*... I hope you get it, no dis intended, I was speaking about my misconception of you, not trying to be a jerk.)

No offense takenl! I definitely have a pretty big personality that can rub some cats the wrong way. That being said, I just dig playing the guitars and making vids for you all. Happy to see that you have changed your mind and feel free to watch and write on the page anytime :)

I don't think Pete was cheating about the pickup. The pickup helps to enhance the volume of the impact from hitting the kick drum because otherwise, he might end up breaking another guitar.
@JayLeonardJ6 жыл бұрын
You're totally right on that: finding the ways of getting an instrument to complement your playing style is what this gear hunt is all about :)
