Another great video! This double speedpaint technique has a final effect similar to what I usually see with an airbrush, but without the equipment. I think it's really good looking and the benefit of the time saved is fantastic. Thank you for sharing this!
@DonSuratos26 күн бұрын
Thank you! I have airbrushes, but lazy to pull them out. Also people new to painting usually do not have airbrushes. Airbrush is a great tool, but not necessary to make good painting in my opinion. 😊🎨🎨🎨

Nice! We definitely want to see more. I am new to painting and using similar technique. I use drybrush or just edge highlighting with white and then go over with less saturated color or with SP diluted with medium.
@DonSuratos26 күн бұрын
Speedpaints are the best for people new to painting. And it can give you great results. 😊🎨🎨🎨
@iantellam997026 күн бұрын
I started doing something similar a year or so ago to improve the contrast and saturation on my models. These days in order to achieve a more even finish I tend to base coat with regular acrylics, then drybrush everything with white and go over everything with thinned speedpaints matching the colours to the base coat. It's essentially using the speedpaints as a coloured wash/tint and I get nicely consistent results pretty fast.
@DonSuratos26 күн бұрын
Your method should be easier to “manage” since regular acrylics will give you a more solid base coat and is more predictable. It will be a tad more time consuming though. But still awesome. 😊🎨🎨🎨

Bro, this is incredible. As a beginner with not a lot of time to pain, I only have/use speedpaints on my minis, which I paint just for myself basically as therapy. In any case, you have been pushing the limits of what we can do with SPs in way that I have never seen here on youtube. Thank you so much for that, for being such a great inspiration!

Speedpaints at it's finest! When I was short on time I tried this technique a few times before but never on the drybrush undercoth, it was zenithal undercoth, speedpaints as base, heavy drybrush with an of white and thinned down speedpaints in 1:1 ratio with the speedpaint medium :) thy for sharing bro, the painting job looks sick!

nice paint job as always Don. Interesting to see how you used the speed paint as highlights but I dont think that is for me. This is an amazing video. As a new painter, i got a lot of ideas. I have a question though. For small minis eg 30mm, speedpaint uncontrollably flows and seeps to small details such as chains, jewelry or eyes. How would you approach these small detailed parts? Normal acrylic paints and thin brush?

Yung air pump plastic alam ko madali masira yun pero meron nabibili replacement part sa shopee and lazada na rubber spring pump compressor.
