that "Monster" is just Haru. If we look back at when they talked in the cave, Haru was surprised to find out that they weren't afraid of him. Since the world changes so should the monsters. That handkerchief is just the game makers way of showing that Haru is the monster. POOR HARU

Bruh.. I think the monster was the child at the campfire.. He cries when u are afraid of him and throwing rocks.. And when u guys first met the child he said, "Aren't you afraid of me?" Because people see him as a monster. It's sad...

If you play through the game a second time the ending will change, the big reveal (monster is haru) was already spoiled, but there's a 3rd ending if you play a 3rd time, the 3rd time you play you'll get the ending when you get to the part when haru appears for the first time (aka the first time you see the monster, when you finish the tutorial)

I find it hilarious that after the no talking sections you never told each other what happened, so yall were clueless on what fully happened. The old man was another person who saw the world as a robot world, he killed people to use their parts to make machines and to try and fix his wife and children. Though these machines weren’t actually machines, but flesh structures, thus the old man was seen as insane for playing with corpses.

Spoiler.. actually that alien is Haru.. yea its pretty obvious but you can unlock a secret ending and even talk with haru 1 last time b4 he 'vomit' his father/mother out.. u need to switch role the 2md time u play with the same friend
