The world needs more Brian Johnson Blues-Songs. Sounds so good!!!
@eltoro969Ай бұрын
It actually does. I was a little sceptic on the first seconds, because his rhythm has never been very good live in AC/DC. But he seemed more relaxed and into the groove here when he doesn`t have to push himself to his limit on the vocals. I really hope he- or someone else picks up on this and starts a blues band. Because AC/DC is DONE and Angus really needs to stop kicking the dead horse. I would rather pay watching Brian and Angus in a blues band like this than in AC/DC right now. Because that band is DONE.

As crazy as it was hearing him sing in this style on the album version, it’s even more insane to see it live. Wish AC/DC could have done something with that over the years besides just on Stiff Upper Lip.

Also Hail Caesar, Boogie Man, Decibel, Rocking All The Way. But in all of them is just a short intro, not the entire song, in Geordie he shows how versatile he actually is.
@chopper1860Ай бұрын
as fantastic as brian johnson sounds here, it wouldn't fit to AC/DC, because it sounds a bit too soft for ACDC
@dupersuper6516Ай бұрын
@chopper1860 I don't think it's that it's too soft, I think they just recognize it's more for added flavor. His higher girthier sound is super unique on first listen. Has a huge draw to it

I`d love to agree on that but no. Slash was at his best in the 90s and maybe with Revolver. It seems to me he is a little worned out from touring with GnR and playing only GnR solos year after year. I would be impressed if he showed another side of him on solo on this song but no. He just Jimmy Paged it like he does in GnR. Great guitar player but playing like that on a blues song like this, just doesn`t cut it. IMO
