It's hard to beat Ann Wilson when it comes to Barracuda, but Fergie gives it a run for her money. I think if the audio level on her microphone was turned up a little higher to overcome the band this would be a top-notch performance.

Ya i'm pretty sure you can use Gun's n' Roses as an example of Slash's work. A lot of people bought it because the guitar work on it was great and others bought it because the lyrics, vocals and the rest of the band were excellent. I can say that my friends and I bought appetite and use your illusions 1 and 2 mostly for the guitar work even though the band as a whole was one of the best ever. My point is that I'm pretty sure Satriani or Vai haven't sold 28 million albums...

I was talkin about Led Zeppelins record sales which far outdo GnR's even so Satriani still sold over 10 million albums and was nominated for 15 grammys.
