Slater and Lisa | Saved By the Bell Edit

Pairing Slater and Lisa together even if its just a couple episodes. Would create such a interesting storyline for the entire OG cast. Zack's jealousy would confirm his feelings for Lisa. While creating tension between him & Kelly and potentially Slater. It could also complicated Jessie & Lisa's super close friendship. All that and if they set it in the summertime I'd defiantly watch. Overall I think its time for less "jokes" & more drama!

The writers were cowards. Lisa was beautiful and classy. It would have been fun, seeing Zack, Slater and Screech fight over her.

It's a shame they wrote one episode of Zack and Lisa being a couple.. they might as well be committed to the story. But ig overall consistency wasn't good in Saved by the Bell writing.

Very good looking young people . I used to see this show when it was playing in the early nineties . I was in the same class of 93 but got one year behind because I moved from Mexico to LA and graduated in 94 . Beautiful years

I always wanted Lisa and Slater. Jessie and Slater just didn't make sense. She nagged him, insulted him, called him a pig, etc. I just didn't get it. I know they were going for the whole opposites attract thing, but I wasn't feeling them together. Maybe watching as an adult I might feel different now, idk, but I never liked them as a pair back then. Lisa and Slater made way more sense, but watching old clips now, I feel like Lisa has the most chemistry with Zack.

Even now Jessie and Slater still doesn't do it for me. The writers were going for the enemies to lovers, opposites trope but it didn't work. Even tho Lisa and Slater weren't a couple I enjoyed watching them more. And yea Lisa did have more chemistry with Zack, that off screen chemistry from Lark and Mark really showed on the show

@@editsxd1 Another thing I didn't like about Jessie and Slater was it felt forced. I always felt like Slater settled for Jessie cause he didn't get Kelly, she chose Zack. As much as I wanted Lisa and Slater, I don't want her as anybody's second choice. If written right, she could've ended up with Slater or even Zack and not as a second choice, but because the characters actually fell for her and had chemistry. It's all in the writing, and I didn't like the way they wrote for Jessie and Slater. No offense to Jessie/Slater fans. 🤷🏽‍♀
