So ive been testing the positioning and slows of blizzard as a Female Belf. You can outrange all spells if you use the very edge of your Rank on Blizzard in the original kill spot past mennu. It makes the groupings nice and tight for a flamestrike weave

been testing it for 4 hours straight, it is not consistent with 200ms (maybe high ms is the issue?). The backwheel and frontwheel doesn't quite consistent since some of the mobs sometimes doesn't not going back or forth. there is also a grouping issue with the kill phase which some type of the mobs (fish) doesn't seem recognize their pathing so it make a late to going back. ohh yeah btw i use female gnomes.

@@tomdosr3079 You may have to adjust your initial up position to compensate, or look into alternative ways of inputting W and S either through your mouse/keyboard macros or something else. Kinda TOS, but your keyboard could just hold your input too long to do it normally.

You can do an 80 pull at level 61, everything is exactly the same. You would just start earlier/outside the tunnel leading to the final boss. Follow the steps in the "The 80 Pull" section of the video.

So I can get the mobs to the kill phase quite easily. However, when I'm juggling them, anywhere from 1 to 15 mobs will decide to just keep going in whatever direction they were heading while the rest turn around. Any idea how to prevent that? There's really no way to recover it properly because they get so far separated and never seem to move in the intended direction. Then will randomly turn around halfway around the big loop. So I'll step back, to get them to run away. Step back up to get them to run back, and half of them just keep going away from me. And no matter what I do they won't come back toward me until they're almost off the ledge. I've had some of them end up meeting back with me on the floor because of it.

Sounds like you're angled too far left. If you ever notice a delay or split, you need to turn more to the right.

@@roeshambo Perpendicular is definitely too far. I would try a middle ground between your angle and that, but it could be you're too far right. 99% of the time it's people are too far left, but without seeing a screenshot it's hard to tell.

Can anyone confirm that this is doable as if you were a gnome with noggenfogger? If not then this is pretty much useless unless you're a gnome. Consistency is everything, and if that non-gnome jump is that unreliable you're better off just doing it in three pulls, one corpserun is more or less three separate pulls completed.

you can do without but you need to rank 1 blizz more and use flamestrike only on clearcast or just rank 1 blizz and max rank blizz on clearcast and never flamestrike

Hey man I was experimenting with combining your pull and my pull to get every mob in the instance... Are you sure that the mobs in the third boss room i.e. the 2 bog packs and the like 3 naga packs stay agroed to you? Have you ever looked at a kill counter or ran back into the room to see if they are still there? Just curious appreciate your response.

I highly recommend at least 63 but better 64, I've been doin this easily till now (68). Just grind any other melee mobs aoe farming.

At 61 you'll need alot of hit gear. Id recommend pulling all the melee, but skipping the caster females that pat back and forth until you get a feel for the distances and Mennu's patroling

Hey man, first of all thanks for the in-depth tutorial. As a female undead the jump to the reset-ledge seems nigh impossible. Is there any way to do it regardless? Also, ledge juggling seems impossible aswell, I tried positioning myself further back, further forward and with every angle I could imagine and the mobs never turn, no matter what. Any clue? Edit: The reset-ledge jump can be circumvented with a very precise blink, the ledge jugling still doesn't work

First time I hear about mob retagging. If I don't hit them for some time they will give me reduced exp, how does that work?

Correct. If they don't take damage for 40-50 seconds they will only give xp based on their current % hp. So if a mob is worth 3k, you get it to 50% and don't hit it for a long time. Then when you kill it, you will only get 1500.

Been at this for 3 days straight and I cannot find a reliable bounce point. I’ve got about a 20% chance of a successful kill. Most of the time when I bounce, some mobs will stay on me while 90% of them turn around. Whenever I finally get them stacked up, it happens again and separates them. God help me when the ones that stay behind decide to cast something.

You can blink on top of it. Make yourself parallel to the ledge and aim on top of the ledge so your blink puts you 20 yds away on top. The angle is like 15-25 degrees so you blink on top, don't try to blink facing the ledge directly.

Anyone having a hard time as a gnome male with the ledge dance? For me, the mobs behaviour is really inconsistent when I go up and down. Sometimes I have to go all the way up the ledge for the mobs to turn around. Have been playing around for about 1.5 hours and haven't yet found the right method. Note: I managed to figure it out. I just needed to stand in the right position and make sure not to change direction at any time which my character was facing. Also, making your character walk seemed to help it move less whenever I tapped w/s.

I'm having the same issue where I would literally have some mobs moving towards me, while others are moving away. I haven't figured out a solution yet, I'm guessing it's related to the size of the hitbox of the mobs, as I often noticed I'd be in a position where the larger "Defenders" would be pathing away (as they could hit me from the down side) while everything else was pathing towards me.

​@@Krawlor776 to make this "easy". Mark the different kinds of mobs so you can see them through the wall. Then try to position yourself where he is in the video. Then you move up and down until you see the mobs changing direction. If they are not all changing direction try and adjust the angle you are facing until all are responding to your up/down movements. Seeing them through the wall gives you PLENTY of time to find the right angle.

The only times I’ve had success, and it’s not that often, is when I’m angled very slightly to the left and tapping and I have RP walk on for smaller steps. If you see you are too low in the wall, but they’re still coming, strafe slightly to the right (will be at a slight up angle) and tap down some more. My bounce point, when I get it, isn’t the same as his. It’s a little more to the right actually on that “dot” that he stays to the left of. Hope this helps, if I can find a reliable bounce point, I’ll have this pull in the bag.

If troll, you can blink onto ledge. Put your character right next to it, and angle at the top of the ledge so your blink will land on top. The degree is probably about 15-20 degrees from parallel.
