The lightest rear disc guard that I've found is the 7602 racing disc guard. It weighs 14.32 oz which makes it over 2 oz lighter than this BPD lightweight version. The 7602 racing rear disc guard offers excellent protection and I haven't had a single issue with one in all the years I've run them

7602 is a great disc guard no doubt. This is the lightest BPD rear disc guard for clarification. Happy trails, Tyler.
