Michelin, Pirelli , continental, etc or any other soft compound tyres need rotation and alignment every after 5000km

Tires should be rotated after 10k km with spare wheel. Then also do a wheel alignment.

Wheel Alignment and Balance is a massive gimmick sold by service centers. If the car does not pull to any particular side (alignment) and there are no vibrations at speeds above 100 kmph there is no need for alignment or balance. Tyres can be rotated safely without messing with alignment or balance but usually the tyre shops and service centers sell it as add on.

Agree, not needed always. But after off Roading at Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya stretch, felt the need !! Due to the missed rotation, front tear came to be on the higher side !

@@Travidiction front will always wear out faster than rear in fwd cars, 15k is very good interval for rotation as you have done currently

That same Silencer issue was with me also I am also having Škoda 1.5 DSG candy white (Keep one WD-40 For lubricant the mirror )

Does the ride quality really improve a lot after change of tyres …. I have a 1.5 automatic and don’t find the ride quality fantastic … will the change of tyres to Michelin really improve the ride quality

I felt improvement in terms of both road noise and ride quality. However, Michelin is a soft compund tire and hence the erosion will be faster and hence tire life will be lower compared to Ceat/ Bridgestone
