Hey NL at 21:55 you skipped Membership and started buying a lot of things in that shop. Membership card is one of the most valuable relics. It says ''In future acts, shops appear 50% more often. BONUS: 50% discount on all products!'' You could've bought that and still purchased everything you got at that point Consider buying it ;)

Nice Job! Small piece of advice that last fight was really close because you never drew any blocks. This was because you had a 40 card deck with maybe like 10 blocks. This was partly because you took nearly every card. Which their really was no reason for. Even when a card is great in your deck you don't need more than two copies. Because in a small deck they will come back around rapidly. Good run though, you are really improving.

I've been watching your videos for a long while, I haven't been playing as long as you have, but you are getting better at this game. You minimized a lot of your misplays and you did pretty good at making a large deck. I'm sure you already get a lot of tips already, but smaller decks might be more useful than larger decks because it means you don't have to get multiples of the same card to guarantee it drawn. Also, you definitely want to look at everything in the shop before you buy anything! It took me so long to realize that just because something's on sale doesn't mean you need it to clutter your decks. Good ascension climb regardless though!

Skewer is good but requires a lot more moving parts than most of the other archetypes. Unless you luck out and get ice cream.

Checometer I think what he means is he doesn’t know the statistical probability of the other options occurring so he can’t weigh in on the true potential of Juzu

He has 300 episodes of this game, he's probably been to a thousand ? rooms at the absolute least, I highly doubt even he wouldn't notice the abundance of combat in them. And he even says that he knows it's good, he says he just doesn't know why specifically, which for an item that literally changes a single value, if it's good, there's nothing more to understand, it would be like him questioning why a damage up in Isaac is good, since he doesn't know how much of a damage up it really is.

Could be wrong but I think he’s saying he doesn’t definitively ~know~ when it’s working. So it’s theoretically possible it didn’t actually prevent any combat on any given run

FYI it only stops them from being regular room combat, you can still get combat events.

Ryan things that can help you improve my mans. 1. Rest only when nessesary, you are not smithing enough 2. Check all relics when you are at a shop since coupon was basically going to save you money from that shop, it got buffed to 50% price reduction 3. Play slower and look at all of your options in combat 4. Please stop seeking unupgraded seeks 5.remove your classic cards, dont do it early. Do it when you have some cards you can use and you have an idea what your deck sterotype is

He really doesn't value dex at all. Right after saying he has too little block, and right before the final boss, he only takes footwork very begrudgingly. Then doesn't play it when he gets it turn one.

Juzu bracelet isn't hard to understand. Questions marks can have combat in them. With Juzu bracelet, question marks can't have combat in them. What part of that is hard to understand?

The upgrade is somewhat useful, but unupgraded it's about as equivalent as a wound card.

With Choke it can actually be somewhat decent. And prepared+ is actually useful for card filtering as opposed to the near uselessness of base prepared.

You don't need a discard deck to have getting rid of statuses like burn or curses like doubt be useful. Plus, the upgrade makes it so you don't just draw the card you would've drawn if you didn't have prepared to begin with, it allows you to cycle cards that are useful to the situation or not.

Pena Power apparently literally nothing. There’s 2 bad faces, 2 good faces, and the bird face that does nothing but the “CAW CAW” at the start of battle, which has no effect. Wish it just instantly made cultists surrender and leave, that’d be cool and would make that event actually slightly more positive than negative, albeit in a small way.
