23:40 I feel like you do an exceptional job of remembering all of the little moves in a fight. You remember if there’s block and to add the strength tokens to the actual incoming damage. You remember to exhaust cards. Remove the dazed and burns out of the deck before the next fight starts. Relic roll numbers. You just legit remember it all and it makes the gameplay so smooth. I feel like I try to cut corners sometimes out of playing fast and it’ll cost me at times where I don’t really remember if I counted damage correctly or if I already counted an enemy’s damage… this video really shows me I should slow down and just enjoy the process of the gameplay so I don’t miss any info. 😅

It’s insane how much I enjoy these videos.. I almost get the same amount of dopamine from watching as I do playing… because I don’t have to do clean up after it’s over. 😂😂😂😂😂 cleanup is the only reason I don’t play this game daily… it’s very annoying to clean everything up. I do have an organizer my wife bought me that makes it probably legit 3-4x faster but it’s just a sucky process…. You gotta un upgrade all the cards….. shuffle the relics. Boss relics. Potions… make sure all the red dice are put away and not left somewhere…. All the acts shuffled…. It’s a time consuming thing..

@@HardxCorpsxKali I don’t have too bad of a time with cleanup and I just have what came with the collectors edition. I shuffle at the beginning of runs though so that for sure cuts back some time during cleanup. Glad you’re enjoying the videos and I can give you a little dopamine! Haha.

Onward from 41:30, did I miss something or should most attacks not have done damage apart from the poison applied? Do shivs also get debuffed by being weakened? Didn't get all aspects of how the weak works yet if I'm honest. I'm really enjoying these videos! They are an entry point for experiencing the board game as well, having enjoyed the digital game a lot ^^

@@merogic weak only applies to the next attack dealt and reduces that amount by one, no matter how many are applied, and then discard one! Shivs count as 1 damage attacks, so shivs are affected, but weak falls off quickly if you can play a lot of cheap attacks! Important to note, that weak applies to an entire attack action, so with dagger spray, all instances of damage in that attack would become zero and then only one weak would get removed since the card is a single attack that deals multiple instances of damage. Another fun watch, you got quite lucky with your card draw on the boss which really helped. You didn't do your boss rewards though - don't forget them at the start of act 3. Another couple of little mistakes for you: 26:45 - you discarded Outmaneuvre without having played it when you cleaned up your played cards, not a good idea to place played cards on top of retained cards like that :) 44:00 - you forgot to apply poison for the Dagger Throw and the Strike attacks, not that it mattered since you got the poison to 20 which became lethal.

@@AlanBrookland Im doing the rewards at the start of Act 3! Definitely noticed I discarded it later in the round so I tried to give it its own space later. If I see the vision for lethal on one path, I sometimes become blinded to other things, but I’m getting better and pointing these out is helpful so thanks for that!

Yeah I was sure you would regret Tactician and you were quite lucky to be able to remove it for a relic ahah. I was not really convinced by picking Envenom instead of the Defensive power (Distract?) since you had been struggling defending yourself, but I was wrong, you lacked damage at that time and it ended up demolishing the boss. GG

Envenom was the correct play! Holy water ensures you'd always be able to either get Envenom or Bullet time off for "free" as those are the most taxing cards you have. All you need now is draw. A backflip or acrobatics would be KILLER, so act three would be in the bag!

Sick video, hopefully the Act3 fights go smoother with the improvements to the deck. Small nitpick because there was an alternate route that got around it, but playing Dagger Spray while weakened shouldn't have done any damage or inflicted poison according to the digital version.

From the wording on envenom, I’d think the dagger spray still would have applied 3 poison even though it would deal 0 damage. That is notably different from digital StS though.

@@EtDuobusAnnis yeah, I should have played a shiv first to clear the weak! But you also don’t have to deal damage with Envenom to apply poison, and I missed applying it a few times because of that, so it wouldn’t have mattered in the end!

In the boss fight did you forget to calculate with the weakened?

@@Korobjorn I did, but it wouldn’t have mattered in the end due to forgetting to apply poison a couple of times, as well. I could have cleared it by playing a shiv first as well. Envenom in the board game does not require you to damage to apply the poison.
