The Broken Bamboo Sword engine is definitely pretty broken. haha. but it actually is really good, I made a video of playing the engine with the new Goblin cards, and it worked really well.

Raymoclaus Yeah but you still need that ritual or fusion spell card. The XYZ's are inherently special summoned from the extra deck. NO OTHER card types or archetypes can do that with the exception of the darc charmers (which SS inherently from the deck). I wouldn't have a problem if the monsters summoned had 2500-3000 atk, but summoning something with 4500 atk just like that is broken. I think konami should ban all those galaxy things that can summon by using XYZ on the field.

The problem I find with this build is you have to have reasoning/monster gate or you lose. I have opened plenty of bad hands with it. Also it has less outs to floodgates. The best version is the lightsworn varient because it adds something other than reasoning for milling and has lyla for cards like vanities and macro.

Well you can throw like 3 hand destructions and also utilize the lyla + MST in this build that was shown. There you have more consistency.

Cursed Bamboo Sword is such a good card. LOVE the Bamboo cards. I've made videos on the bamboo cards with Harpie Ladies. The pluses are amazing and you can easily get your opponent into a Yata lock.

Nikko Smit "Soul devouring bamboo sword" has the same effect how yata, but the monster must equipped with a bamboo sword equip spell. And "cursed bamboo sword" allows a direct attack.

Nikko Smit yeah, obviously I mean the same effect :) Cos Soul Devouring Bamboo Sword makes your opponent not able to enter their draw phase if you attack with a monster equipped with a bamboo sword (max 2 turns) but Cursed Bamboo Sword keeps resetting that.

only problem is it relies heavily on reasonings and monster gate. if you don't have those then you can't do much and you also have to hope that dog isn't on the top of your deck. and if the dog is on the bottom of the deck you don't get plusses from the ghastly bamboo. and backrow is a huge problem.

Pretty cool but luck decks are half the fun; I used draconia and combined my fire and pendulum decks. Tenki/reinforcement of the army make that and flash knight searchable but I do miss level 7 apex avian. More fun to use than separating the decks I feel. I thought magic cylinder would be a weakness to the vid too lol that would be priceless
