Personally I think there are other things going on the background, like the royalties for example. There was some mention by Gary a while back that he wasn't contributing writing to the band because the royalties for Jeff hadn't been worked out entirely (even though they 're now going to his family), and because of that, Gary didn't have a legal leg to stand on as a member of Slayer. So it's likely that they had to "retire" the old lineup of Slayer (with Jeff) so they "reform" with Gary and everything is worked out on paper. I'm sure Tom not wanting to tour as much was part of it, but probably not the entirety of it. Just my two cents, who knows if anything I said is actually true or not.

It's great to see Slayer again. I could doubt they'll make another studio album, but I'm fine with them doing occasional performances here and there. I had thought Tom has had enough, but it's surprising to see him say he misses playing live. It is good, though I think they got to lay off the heavy touring as that can take it's toll. Hopefully they're still able to travel overseas and Kerry still goes on with his band.

I'm glad their back. Serj tankian has said that system pretty much is just gonna be doing sick new world every year from now on and that's it. Slayer only doing a few shows a year is fine. Im only 17 and never got to see slayer. Now if they ever come close, I'll have that chance. I'm gonna be seeing Kerry king with lamb of god in August.

I bet that is the case or one off shows, nothing that requires Tom traveling in a bus. I have no doubt he is done with that part of band life.

Let slayer just end gracefully. This is a slayer reunion no one asked for. This is gonna turn into the motley cru sceneario

It's more comparable to the Pantera situation.

Your opinion pretty sure there's a bunch of people that don't mind it at all, also this is absolutely nothing like the pantera situation, pantera the 2 founding members aee dead and they disbanded in the early 2000's Slayer only retired a few years ago

@andrewcanoy1708 nothing like the Pantera situation, are you actually thick? Seems it
@LeadMe2TheBliss10 ай бұрын
I disagree. Slayer aren't doctors, or school teachers why would they want to retire? It's like a free vacation and they get paid to play music, see a bunch of t!tt!es, and drink liquor lol. That's NOT a job the average man wants to retire from...
