At 43 I'm going to see Slayer in Dublin in 4 days time. Dunno if I'm looking forward to it but it'll be a farewell thing for me as well. Obituary, Anthrax and Lamb of God are supporting on the night but it's a farewell thing I'm doing this year. I really do feel I'm kinda passed all that heavy metal stuff I used to love when I was younger. My health ain't good and I'm tired all the time but I still want to say my goodbyes. Seen Iron Maiden for the 4th time a few months ago and they were my favourite band when I was younger but they're not doing it for me either anymore. I can't really see me living much longer but it's been great with music like this to listen to.
