SLAYING CALICO BASS at ONE MILE| SLOW PITCH JIGGING | DINGHY FISHING

On this episode I took out the new dinghy to 1 mile and SLAYED the calico bass and sand bass. It was my first time trying out the new slow pitch jigging set up. Most of the fish caught were on 60g-80g jigs.
Jigs used:
Nomad the buffalo
Nomad gypsea
Diawa Zakana
Shimano ColtSniper
Boat Specs:
Achilles 10ft Rigid-hull inflatable boat (RIB)
5hp Force two Stroke motor

Very cool man. do you have any luck with lighter weight jigs? Also, for the bait rod, have you ever used squid instead of anchovy?

I have tried lighter jigs but in shallower water - they work well also. But I typically like to use 10gs per 10ft of water. I prefer baitfish over squid because i feel that squid attracts more whitefish and croakers but squid is better than nothing. Goodluck!

I have noticed you have a dingy and you have diy built-seating station, is that right? I also have an inflatable boat but your seem something I should look into. Is there anyway you can take some photos of setup and share with me? Thanks in advance.

What's the rope on the rod holder? Just to deal with the flex of the dinghy?

Yup! Exactly. Its so i don't lose my rod when the fish bite.
