I like how they basically wanted a B-17 for star wars and came up with the Star Fortress heavy bombers. I also like that all 8 were destroyed because of their slow speed and vulnerabilities. It wasn't a very good design for a heavy bomber. he engines were underpowered, the laser turrets didn't have good firing arcs, the lack of armor made it super easy to shoot down and the bomb bay was far too exposed. If it were my choice for a design, I would've gone with a more traditional B-29 or B-52 style design. A long, cylindrical fuselage, uparmored to take a large amount of punishment, larger engines for greater speed and powe and overlapping fields of fire for the turret emplacements to ensure maximum survivability against swarm tactics used by TIE pilots. Is this the best design? Oh heck no. There's a reason why we went to smaller, faster bombers like the B-1 Lancer, plus heavy bombers don't belong in star wars anyways. Like seriously, the Y-wing is easily able to carry enough ordinance to disable, or even cripple a capital ship, and still can defend itself in a dogfight. Is this design better than the one we see in the last jedi? Absolutely. This design is still very much prevalent in the modern day with the B-52 stratofortress, which is still in active use by the US.

I love it when they use WW II era vehicles and planes as inspiration for designs in Star Wars. Well except the time they used large numbers of B-17w for inspiration in The Last Jedi. That gave us the dumbest starship and probably the worst space battle scene in the entire franchise. I can hear the person who suggested it now, who I'll assume to be lil' Rian "Tiny Johnson" Johnson because I don't like him."Hey you know how rhwy used WWiI as inspiration in Star Wars? Let's do that same thing! We can use B-17s flying over Germany as a template. A lot of them were shot down so we can have a bunch of explosions on screen and even a heroic death!" One guy told Rian that it didn't make sense to have bombers that were that slow and they had Y-Wings which were much better. That guy got fired on the spot I'm sure.

Alan, ease up on the audio noise reduction. Maybe by about half. The music will cover-up a lot of it anyways. You're ending up pulling out all of the low end of your dialog... too much. Do a test run on the first 20 seconds with the music at your normal background levels. Find a good compromise and then do the whole thing. A little dirt won't hurt.
