This is the "cycling" part of my 3-day Dingle Peninsula trip. Road cycling in western Ireland is truly a mesmerizing experience.

You won't regret it! But make sure to pick a day with good weather. It's a stark difference.

Thank you. It’s a very rugged landscape but surely was one of the best places that I’ve cycled!

I rode that years ago for 19 days on a crappy ten speed. Loved it. Rode over Conner pass. I lost 12 pounds on that trip. I remember tears from the wind descending the pass…well done. Did you camp?
@kittens1032 жыл бұрын
Yes, I did camp at the place called "Campail Teach an Aragail". It's so hard and expensive to get accommodations in Ireland during Summer time. Great job exploring the Conor Pass!

Thats about €15, annoying but not so bad really. Glad you liked the place, so did I.

Hi , did you do it clock wise or anti clock wise. How steep is it?
@kittens1032 жыл бұрын
Hi, I did anti-clockwise. The owner of the campsite also recommened this because 1. It’s closer to the sea, 2. Cars usually travel clockwise. So it’s better to go agaisnt the traffic instead of holding up the cars behind you.

That white cross was there. If I remember correctly that’s the closest point to North America

Interesting. I assumed it's either Dingle or the Beara Peninusla.
