I hadn't heard of these fellas until today. They popped up while I was listening to Amyl and the Sniffers. I'm glad they did. This is good stuff. I understand some of Jason's lyrics and subject matter partly because I have heard many interviews with him and Andrew, look up the lyrics on a website and have watched enough films, documentaries and follow the doings of British culture to be in tune with societal issues. Some of his hyper specific references do escape me but I definitely understand where Sleaford Mods are coming from generally. And as far as how things are? Well....we booted Trump. So, Hurrah! But we are left with his wreckage to clean up for years and his maniacal followers who are still threatening violence and the endless virus also.
