I am and always was Rocken Roll . I was addicted to it by the time I was 13. I know real boggie when I hear it.(Old School)! I loved Montroes,LED Zeppelin,AC DC, Black Sabbath,Fog Hat and on and on.This Band can play right a long with them all. My wife of 43 years bought me there first Album in 91 and I still consider it among my top5 . With a little bit of luck and less tragedy they would be in the hall of fame. One of the best Rock bands ever assembled

This band should have been household names. Frank C. Starr is the epitome of a front man and was the biggest rock star people never knew. Dimwit played with an animalistic groove that was simply perfect. Listen to his snare cut through the mix like a dagger. Wow! Haggis' Tele slide work and Lizmi's Les Paul tones are brilliant. Such a heavy in your face song with huge soaring harmonies. THIS is the way it is done folks. It's a shame that Frank and Dimwit were silenced. God bless TFH

So sad these guys are gone ,but definitely not forgotten. They were my favourite band for years ,still are. I remember when they got back together in in the mid 90's and were hanging around and playing in Toronto a lot -where they recorded "Gettin' Pretty Good at Barely Gettin' By" , I kept missing their shows at RPM 's ,I always figured I'd see them next time. One of my only major regrets in life ! It was too bad that"Gettin' Pretty Good" didn't get heard, cause it was an amazing record.

That and the dumb bitch that backed out onto Sunset Blvd. Frank was one of my best friends, and we helped each other get through some pretty rough times. I saw these guys in Vancouver. We got to the venue early so we had dinner there and the guys showed up for soundcheck. We hung out and eventually ended up shooting some pool with them and having a few drinks until showtime. We stuck around after and partied til closing. Nicest bunch of guys and a killer show. It was so sad to hear about Ken, a well known fixture in the Vancouver music scene. They had just been signed by a major if I remember correctly. I got along particularly well with Frank and was shocked to hear of his passing as well. Life can be a real dick sometimes.
