Beautiful herbs, Donna! You've done such a great job of organizing all your videos so viewers can learn not only how to grow crops but also how to use them in recipes. Well done!

Beautiful ! I love perennials. Unfortunately it's so cold here most done make it.

+Alberta Urban Garden Simple Organic and Sustainable Awe, true, there are very few which are hardy in your zone, 3 right? When I do in-depth video growing guides on the herbs, I will try to include hardiness zones for many of the perennials. For now, if there are certain herbs you would really like to grow to the "creep" or "leap" stage, you should be able to overwinter those in containers indoors. Even in zone 6b, I have found success overwintering many heat loving plants indoors until the next growing season.

Things like chives and mint do over winter here no problem but things like thyme, rosemary don't.

Well....am I glad I saw this video. Just about to dig up my not so great chives. None are dying, but I would not describe them as robust. I will leave them in-situ.

+Shelita Williams Hi! Thanks so much. I would like to refer you to my channel and if you watch my "How to Grow Parsley", I go into depth about how I fertilize my veggies. Most of this footage was taken from my organic garden where I make my own blend. You will see it in the parsley video.
