I’ve been sleeping on mine for 3 days and I’m loving it - but you just taught me the thing about the shoulders! Now I have to go check and make sure mine is set up right! Also - skin care is one reason I buy BLACK silk pillowcases. I also find it helps to do skin care as soon after sundown as possible so it can soak in for a couple hours before going to bed.

I loved the honest video. Here is what happened/is happening with my pillow. I hate the pillow. I have had it almost a year for the 2nd time. The first pillow I had was from Russia and made in June. That was the date they sent and where it was also made. It smelled so horribly that it stunk up the area around the bed with that rubber/petroleum smell. There was no way I could sleep on it. It did get better in the 3 or 4 months I used it, but it never totally went away. I could never get used to it as I guess my way of sleeping on my side does not fit the pillow. My shoulders are wide too so this probably plays into the whole thing. Furthermore, I sleep on my side, but in a curl, with my chin and head facing down. I never realized that until this pillow. This pillow is impossible for me to get my face in the hole that it is supposed to fit inside. It hurts my neck where the spine is not straight at the bottom of my neck to the nape of the neck. This second pillow I got did not smell, thank goodness. The second pillow is not as comfortable as the first one was, softness wise. So, their formula must not be followed exactly in making the foam. The first pillow was more squishy and this one is more firm, is what I am saying. I am thinking of carving this pillow out to fit my body with the electric turkey knife actually, to try and get this pillow to work. I really want it to work, but the bottom half of my face is squished, while the cheek is in the hole. To tell you the truth, this pillow has put me through hell and I really hate it. Stupidly, I keep trying to make it work. I think I will quit. It just does not work for me. After viewing your wonderful review of this pillow, I wanted to tell my experience. It won’t really matter, as everybody really likes the pillow except for me. Some women even get two pillows for their second homes! Thanks again for the review.

I appreciate reading about your experience. Sorry about what it was like for you. As a light sleeper, I think I’d struggle. The smell (off gases) would drive me crazy, too. That shouldn’t happen. I’m afraid it will sleep hot. I absolutely must be chilly to sleep. Thank you, as this was as helpful as the video.

I just bought this pillow and completely regret it. What a waste of money. It’s supposed to be for side sleepers and this pillow is way too low for that. I am 5’5” and do not have broad shoulders. As a matter of fact, I’m the typical average sized woman. Even laying straight on my back it doesn’t have enough neck support. This pillow is very small! If you buy it from Sleep and glow you do have a 30 day money back guarantee return window. If I would have done that then I could have returned it. So keep that in mind when deciding where to buy it from.

@@scrappy3759 ~ Thanks for the warning. I’m so sorry about your experience. I decided to upgrade my down pillow, continue using my silk pillowcase, and I added a moisturizing treatment mask. It’s working out fine for me at age 63. (Btw, the extra moisture I’m getting is from Dr. Sam Bunting’s Flawless Revival Mask. It made a tremendous difference in my complexion and expression lines. Didn’t realize my skin was dehydrated. It’s worth having it shipped here, US, from the UK.) Hope we resolve our sleep issues soon. I desperately need a new mattress. So hard to find a good one these days.

Thank you so much for telling us your experience! I sleep in a ball also and have also many times carved expensive pillows to try to make them work, but yeah I can see that carving the lower face area of this one probably won't allow for the forehead support. I actually quite like a pillow I tried for C-PAP wearers where the recesses are further down towards the bottom corners, although the one I tried is too narrow and too soft. Maybe we will find our magic pillow in the C-PAP sites 😂

I am so happy I found this video. I’ve been using mine for a few nights now and have been wondering if I was doing something wrong! Lol. I couldn’t figure out the top and bottom! I have cervical spondylosis and my neck has been a lot more sore!! I spent way too money on this pillow so I’m going to have to figure it out.

Oh no! I would definitely reach out to them. The customer service was very good when I spoke with them last year. I did experience neck soreness the first 2-3 weeks, but it did get better with time. Also, I took out the extra insert to raise the pillow, and that helped. Lastly, I aired the pillow out for a long time, and that was a blessing! I hope that you feel better!!!

Thank goodness you mentioned your neck injury. I have the same issue and I'm usually a tummy sleeper so I don't think this pillow is for me. I think I would get stuck in a position and be unable to get myself off the pillow as my back is also not the greatest.
@kgroo13133 жыл бұрын
Apologies for my late reply. I agree with you. It would be difficult to use this pillow as a stomach sleeper. I have tried before and with the indentations it is a little challenging to properly position your neck so you aren't suffocating, but still comfortable. Thank you for bringing this up. I am going to do an update on this pillow, and I want to highlight this.

I've been considering this pillow for a while now. It was high on my wish list. Your video has been the absolute, most helpful one that I have seen so far, and, trust me, I've seen quite a lot. Thank you! Unfortunately, because I have neck issues (cervical spondylosis), I don't think that this is the one for me. I wish so much that I could find a good pillow that would help. So far, I haven't had any luck. I don't want more sleep wrinkles. I also don't want to exacerbate my neck issues. I wish that I could train myself to sleep on my back.

Do you find that where the pillow contours in (the area intended to prevent sleep wrinkles) causes any increase in cheek or jowl sagging due to that area of your face having no support (basically just hanging) for several hours each night? That is my biggest concern. I am completely sold on the fact that it will dramatically eliminate sleep wrinkles (it just makes sense that it would) but I don't want to be fighting one concern while potentially creating another. I hope this makes sense! I'm a side sleeper and to make matters worse I'm not a side-to-side side sleeper - I only sleep on my right side. PS: That is one super cool looking jacket you're wearing! Would love your feedback! Thanks, Brandon (from VA)

Oh. My. God. I. Can't stop thinking about that now ahhh
@SlMONSAYS2 жыл бұрын
@@lizzi7128 it absolutely cannot be good for your face, things that go unsupported are far more prone to sag. If you tend to sleep on one side more than the other, it's definitely going to impact symmetry.

I know this is an old post, but I thought the same thing. It also seems like it would put a lot of pressure on the area that touches the pillow. It just doesn't sound like it would be comfortable.

True!! This makes so much sense - especially I’m in my 60s. I don’t need sagging and laxity in the skin of my face. I’m so glad to see others thought of this. I’ll keep my Scandia down pillow and silk pillowcase. Thanks everyone.

I bought the pillow and hate it. As a side sleeper, I was hoping the loft of the pillow would be higher than 2.36 inches high. If the pillow was 4 inches high my shoulders and neck would not wake up in pain. Great concept but not high enough loft for a side sleeper with larger shoulders.

This is the worse company I’ve ever dealt with. They don’t respond to emails. I made a purchase of $273 and when I shipped the items back, they refunded $250 and gave no explanation and still won’t respond to my emails. The pillow? Too thin, and I am small. When you turn to the side, the top part of the face goes in the cradle but the mouth and chin smash on the lower part of the pillow. I have a very small head.

Well…I have finally gotten used to the pillow, and I do like it now. It was a bit of a struggle initially though. As a back sleeper it is pretty comfortable if you don’t tuck your hands into the pillow, or throw them over head. As a side sleeper, it does take some getting used to as there are carve outs for your face. Overall, I like the pillow if you are willing to take the time to get used to it. It also depends on what your main goals are, this is phenomenal for sleep wrinkles. If you have a neck injury, this may require some adjustment. I hope this helps!!

@kgroo13133 жыл бұрын
Hi! I didn’t. However depending on which Slip pillowcase you have, it may likely fit. This is a much shorter pillow, and Slip pillowcases are a bit long. The only reason I didn’t use Slip is because of the grooves that this pillowcase has. Nonetheless, it is free to ship pillowcases; hence, I would try out the Slip first, and if you don’t like it, I would then get the Omnia silk one.

This pillow has really aged my face. After using it for almost 8 months, my cheeks are super low. This pillow also caused my jaws to clench at night in my sleep. Thus, I ended up with wider looking jaws and droopy cheeks. I DO NOT RECOMMEND SLEEP AND GLOW PILLOW. Also, sleeping on the side with the pillow was the one of the most uncomfortable positions ever.
@maisha3032 жыл бұрын
@Klara Kristina go to 1:01. you'll see dents on both sides of the pillow. That has been made for side sleepers. So when I sleep on my side, I fit the sides of my face on the dents. That causes my jaws to clench. I hope that helps you understand.
