I loved this video from the moment I heard it last year! A cruise ship is truly the ONLY place I can relax. Otherwise I just work 10-15 hours a day, 7 dsys a week. Now with Covid, it's beyond awful not having a means to relax, so this is truly a God-send. The sounds are better and more realistic than any others I've heard. Until we can sail again, at least we have this. Thank you so very much for sharing it with us.

Best sleep I EVER had was on Carnival Breeze cruise. I don't know whether it's the rocking motion on the sounds but I never slept better! Thanks for posting.

Thank you for this video! My grown kids and I went on our first cruise on the Carnival Triumph...the one that had the engine fire and drifted powerless in the ocean in February, 2013. Luckily I had upgraded our 2 cabins from ones with just windows to balcony cabins before we sailed so we had light during the day and a strong breeze day and night. Unfortunately, we also had cabins that got flooded with sewer water. Like many passengers who had to sleep outside on the decks due to lack of electricity, no air conditioning or heat and water soaked cabins, I slept on our balcony each night after the engine fire. Even with a listing ship, no electricity, air or toilets, I slept like a baby! Of course, there were no engines to propel the ship so the ship didn't sail through the water as I presume the ship does in your video but I could still hear the waves lapping at the sides of the ship as the wind blew us around the Gulf of Mexico. Then, about a month after we got back to dry land, my younger daughter and I took our free cruise Carnival gave us on the Carnival Magic for a 7 day cruise to the Caribbean. Again, I either fell asleep on the balcony then went to my bed later or slept the whole night on our balcony. Best sleep I've EVER had!! I plan to sleep on our balcony on our next cruise and all the cruises in the future. In fact, I often visualize sleeping on the balcony when I am going to sleep at home, totally relaxes me. Once you go cruising, even if you have an engine fire and go adrift in the ocean, cruising gets in your blood and you have to go again and again and again! I was listening to the sound of waves on a beach on KZbin then got the idea to see if there were videos with the sounds of the ocean on a cruise and found your video - which seems to be the only one on KZbin. Your wife is SO RIGHT, it IS the best sleep you can get and THANK YOU for making this video for her and sharing it with others! Yaaawn, good night. Aaaaaaahhhhhhhh.....zzzzzzzzzzzzz

First Cruise Carnival Legend 5 nights Sydney to Hobart, jammed a shoe in the balcony door and shoved the tub chair up against so I could hear this every night... had bigger seas , more woosh woosh. This should be on Spotify..

I love cruise ships, you go up that gangway plank when it's your time to board and there's those "Washy washy" ladies with the spray bottles with sanitizer, "Washy washy, dirty dirty". (Norwegian Cruise Lines) Then your feet hit the ship floor for the first time and you're thinking "WOW, finally here"! Then you go to the restaurants as often the staterooms are still being cleaned, then halfway through your meal you hear that BONG, BONG, BONG, the announcement alert, "Attention, attention, your staterooms are now ready". So you finish your meal and you go in that room and you feel like you're a King, Queen, etc, the room is spotless and perfectly made, if you have a balcony (You don't take a balcony room on a cruise you've gotta be nuttier then a squerriel's guts) you open that door and hear this, then you feel the ship start up, the whole floor shakes and you feel the power of those engines, you hear them purring like kittens, then that ship backs out and as it leaves port it picks up speed, you're on the balcony and you feel like you're on a magic carpet ride across the ocean, it's incredible.

I went on a cruise and someone had to get airlifted off because of a heart attack and the helicopter hit the window
