I just discovered them a few days ago and they became my new favorite band in a day, and within three days I had already decided that Take Me Back To Eden was one of the best albums I've ever heard, and Euclid is the perfect song.

This is a song of god, man, and the devil, all saying their piece. It changes line to line at times. As a gospel drummer, i pray you listen again and recognize the distinction. And then go back anf listen to EVERY SONG throigh the same lense.

The Gospel musician tag is what caught my interest in this particular Sleep Token reaction, then I heard the Southern accent and knew it was gonna be a genuine one (Bama boy over here, grew around Baptist and the likes) but I'm curious as to what you think about how complex the spiritual and hymnal feel a lot of their music has and your interpretation of it in itself. Been a fan since the beginning and watching the growth in their music is astounding . Definitely dive in.

Euclid is a must, but you have to check out The Night Does Not Belong To God first. That was their first song on the first album and Euclid (last song on this album) wraps the trilogy up beautifully. It’ll make you appreciate Euclid even more.

There's quite a few tracks from Sleep Token you could say are very Gospel sounding, mainly their older stuff like "The Way That You Were" and "When The Bough Breaks". It's well worth an explore :)

The whole Sleep Token concept reminds me of a story I read once of an extremely jealous and authrocious Bronze Age Canaanite war god. He was one of the 70 children of the upper god ‘ El ‘ or ‘ Al ‘ and he manoeuvred his ancient father an rivalling brothers and sisters to become the ruler of the universe. If I’m not mistaken, one of his brothers was called ‘ Baal Zebul ‘ but I don’t remember that furousious an psychopathic war god’s name anymore.
