Maybe wasn't confident in what to do with them. Obviously he's doing this style really well, but I'd argue it's a very creative use of cleans coming from Sleep Token and Will probably just didn't think it was possible until he heard it. Kinda like one day it clicked and he goes "dang this guy sounds good... hey I kinda sound like him". Sometimes it's hard to do something new like that even if you're good at it. Even if he can sound like Vessel, it's not that easy to implement that sound into original content. Like I said, his voice is pretty unique and requires a unique songwriting approach. Can he figure it out? Probably, but it comes down to whether or not he wants to put in the work to learn how to make it work for him. He already has a working formula with his dirty vocals.

You could tell he was trying to keep with vessels tempo and key to give the song its justice/respect but if he had grab those pockets fully to use HIS voice and scream without sacrificing the song itself it would’ve been astounding. I appreciate Will's insane extreme vocal abilities, even though Lorna Shore isn't really my cup of tea. But his clean vocals with a bit of harsh stuff thrown in, wow. This sounds amazing! To me there is a magic combination of clean and harsh vocals which adds up to more than the sum of it's parts, like much Jinjer and Spiritbox. This hits that spot. Nice one Will, please do a side project of stuff like this. I'll buy it!

I absolutely love Lorna Shore, im a die-hard deathcore fan, but not ONLY deathcore. I love music in general, and I love Sleep Token as well. Vessel and the rest of the band would be proud of this cover, i would think. Not only does Will Ramos have a great personality, but he also has an amazing vocal range. He has quickly become one of my favorite artists, even before he came to Lorna.

A lot of cover artists don't often hold a candle against the original...less common is when the cover surpasses the original...especially when that original artist is Sleep Token. This this is a rare case where I believe it to be true.

Will has talent oozing out of him leaving a trail wherever he goes, and this track is no exception. However, and I think Will would agree, Sleep Token is so much more than the vocality, I almost don’t even consider it music. It’s an experience, a story, it becomes its own life form, developing and evolving as each second progresses. While this is the best cover hands down, and highlights Wills remarkable talent and creativity, it doesn’t match up to the original. In my opinion, Sleep Token has the potential to go down as the best band to ever play. Of course keeping in mind art is subjective.
