Finally figured it out. I love 13x6 personally too, but I believe He straight up takes the wires off the snare to get that sound. I love that, similar to how Danny Carey mostly plays with the wires off, or how Vlad from Jinjer has his own sound too.

Powerstroke 77 on a 13 x 5 wooden snare, medium high top and cranked high bottom, definitely being compressed a little bit, but there's a guy on KZbin showing how to recreate his snare and its pretty damn close his @ is EliGreenDrums
