Take Me Back To Eden as an album is a really good blend of genres. There’s some more pop style songs on the album. The only “heavy” song left on the album is Vore. The previous album is also really good. My favorites are Alkaline and The Offering.

As a 'somewhat' drummer myself, I can assure you that he hasn't played anything that I'd exactly call easy. Lol. What we're experiencing when we're watching someone like II perform their craft is the extreme confidence in movement of an absolutely incredibly talented pro. In fact, it's one of my favorite things ever to watch the hands of a true master at work because they make truly amazing things look so second-nature.

(Long story short, do them in order) Okay we’re going for it lol. As a fisch fan and a sleep token fan I’ll drop some recommendations. It’s a long journey tho. Most people listened to Take me back to Eden first, and then started their early stuff from the top. I happened to start from the top years ago, but take me back to Eden and then everything else seems to be the most fun. The first EP titled “One” is first, then the EP titled “Two” (their best music imo) comes next. Then the albums start, with Sundowning which is incredible. And then This Place Will Become Your Tomb, follow by take me back to Eden. They have singles, my favorite being Jaws. In that order, you’ll get the thousands of nuanced references he slides into the hidden pockets of their stuff. Also you’ll be able to piece together what he’s really talking about, the self destructive relationship with the goddess “Sleep”. It’s a wild ride dude and I’m glad you found them.

Oh man, This is not even one of the best videos of his playing . I can imagine your reaction when u see him playing the "vore" "alkaline" or "hypnosys"😅 but first you should listen to the studio version . Because drum videos usually cut the beginning of the song ,if there is no drum part. And also on this same channel "drumeo" there is a full interview with ii, where he shared his approach to playing drums, and music in general, and also played about 10 songs of the band (all in the same format as you just watched). Btv is the first video interview with any of the members sleep token.

This song is next to last on the album. Whoever said it, I agree that you should listen to this album in order. You've already done Chokehold and The Summoning which are the first 2 songs of the album. The next song is Granite. Pick up from there and go in order to the end. This song, Take Me Back To Eden, is the next to last song on the album. The lyricism in this album (and all Sleep Token songs back to the EPs) is extremely deep.

Should watch some of their live performances. Its kind of a toss up if Vessel is gonna be serious, or act like a total goober while on stage. Its pretty greatm they also sound great. I think while recording, Vessel does rhe screams, but live either III or IV does the screams. Cant remember who.

The first minute or so of the song doesn't have any percussion sections, so that's why this playthrough seems to jump into the middle of the song. You should definitely check out the full song because you're missing the buildup.

"Grow back your sharpest teeth, you know my desire" is about being consumed by your passion (among other things) and is a direct callback to their song The Offering. *Take a bite.*
