Yes....I was going to call that out myself...good catch Cam. Yes, lyrics from chokehold are referenced in the end part of TMBTE. And I'm sure you know now that Euclid is the end of the trilogy of all three of their albums and has callbacks to several songs. It's a great song, but if you go through their entire discography, it packs a helluva punch. Great reaction.... would love to see y'all react to Rain. And The Apparition. 😂 I can't afford Patreon 😕. I don´t think I ever encountered a band, that draws people´s attention to the lyrics, as Sleep Token. He, the one, number 1 - Vessel - is a story teller. By the way, Matt hit those high notes in perfect pitch :D I hope you guys will continue moving backwards in this trilogy. Thank you. :)

This band never misses. I was a little sceptical at first but they started to grow on me pretty fast. I don't know what I appreciate more - the music or the lyrics. They're both extraordinary. Anyway, I think you should check out one of my favourite bands - STELLVRIS. They're a modern metal/metalcore band from Prague and they dropped their debut album Persistence last October. They're opening for Megadeth and The Black Dahlia Murder next month. Their vocalist Nicol is such a badass! Scorpio and Who's the Target Now are my favourite songs.

Sleep Token has lore spanning from their first releases till the Euclid. The more obvious references are "easy" to Spot but the lyrical nuances with this Band is just awesome and I would love for you both to check out their OG stuff like "When the bough Breaks" etc. Also love Cams make up, they are really killing it with the eyeliner :)

Would love to see you guys go down the rabbit hole and start from the beginning with Sleep Token! They have always been this good..and everything ties together…the three albums are a trilogy and they have a lot of amazing singles/EPs, and covers! The first song, “The Night Does Not Belong to God, off of their first album, ties into Euclid (a lot of their songs actually tie into Euclid) I think my fav is a song called Calcutta off of their second EP- Two…and the video is just as captivating as the song!

Yes, but work up to it. Euclid will be spoiled if they do it too early! Tnbtg from their first album needs to be heard before Euclid. As well as a bunch of others, even on EPs. When The Bough Breaks? You have to earn that song to have the meaning actually hit you. Feel free to burn it early. But this is their last song they released. Give it the context it deserves.
