Vessel actually writes and plays all the music besides the drums (which II writes and plays) for the albums. III and IV have been, up til now, only live players for the band. So it's Vessel playing the keys. During live shows, Vessel sometimes hands off responsibilities like playing keys to others, but he's definitely the one playing on the album.

Kid you not, when i saw them recently a few months ago, it had been forecast to rain but hadn't the entire time we were queueing. We get halfway through the set and near the end of Rain, and Vessel starts singing "so rain down on me" and IT STARTS SPRINKLING. Literally just a few bars later during the peak of the chorus it had already turned into almost a full downpour. One of the most surreal experiences of my life and made the entire gig for me.

Another band that is really making an impact is Bad Omens. Noah is an amazing vocalist and their blend of pop and metal is A++. You really need to check them out!

Vessel does vocals, lyrics and writes all the music aside from drums, that’s all II. Though II has been credited with some song writing too as far as I’m aware. III (bass) and IV (guitar) are only there for the live shows.

You are absolutely right that ST writes pop music better than the run of the mill pop artists these days. I think it is largely due to vessel. His lyrics are deep and interesting. His vocals, incredible. ii cannot be left out though. Not enough words to express how good this band is.

Vessel does everything but the drums, he is insanely talented and two is the perfect addition with the way he plays and adds to the songs. And I love your reactions - really hope you do all their albums (literally i need you to react to atlantic and bloodsport from the room below)

Definitely Vessel on the keys on all recordings. The man behind that mask is an incredibly highly trained jazz and classical pianist; better than he is a vocalist even, if you can believe that.

Vessel, in these past albums, has written, played, produced (I think with a bit of help) everything except percussion after ii joined. The band has a back up vocal group( espera) and III and IV for touring. Will that change? Maybe. I don't know. Only Vessel knows. The others seem very integrated into the aesthetic of Sleep Token.

If you haven't seen it already, check out ii's (ii or 2 is the drummer) interview on Drumeo. I believe its the only interview any of them has done. He talks influences and techniques and does live playthroughs. It's fascinating.
