With a couple of EPs in 2016 and 2017, some singles in 2018, and albums in 2019, 2021 and of course 2023, they're not "new" in any real sense now, but until they released The Summoning, they were still pretty under the radar. I know people are gonna aim more to recommending stuff from TMBTE, but The Offering is easily their other biggest song, Levitate will make you feel even more things, ii's drums in Telomeres might blow your headphones off and Fall For Me is a vocoder's dream. Euclid is not only the perfect album finale, but imo also the perfect way to close out this chapter, with so many callbacks, references and easter eggs from their previous songs (as was Take Me Back To Eden itself), but listening to The Night Does Not Belong To God beforehand is an absolute MUST.

Sleep Token blends so many different styles together from jazz to metal to Rap to R&B and electronic as well every single one of our songs is a experience and works very nicely with every other song as we are trying to tell a story so you kind of have to listen to every single album to understand what vessel is trying to say.

If you’ve not given their first album, Sundowning, a listen, I’d recommend The Offering and Sugar. Glad you’re in to them! One of my favorite bands of the last few years. Another vote for Ascensionism. That song is a rollercoaster with really deep lyrics. It's my favorite song from them. When you're done with individual reactions on this album, listen to the whole album from start to finish and think about the lyrics of each song in relation to the others. The album tells an emotional story that will have you in a trance. By the time you reach this song (3rd from last on the album), you'll have a whole new respect for the lyrics, as if it's not deep enough on its own. I listened through the album a second time while sober to verify it wasn't just the weed picking up on something that wasn't there. It's there, and it's beautiful.

You’ve got to go to one of their shows man because it is something else to be there watching them perform the songs. I went to one of the German rituals in December 2023 and I can’t tell you how amazing the vibe was and how the live versions of the songs (in my opinion) are way better than the studio. Aqua Regia is my fav song from the record but I miss hearing it live
