The Apparition is such an underrated ST track, so I could hardly contain my excitement when I saw the notification! The synthesizer spot already tickles my brain and you go adding more depth to it. Those additional female vocals? Wonderful touch. The extra layer of emotion at the 'Why are you never real' drop gave me chills! The way your mind works amazes me, Jamie! I don't know if others have requested it but I would love to hear your take on Give! The song is beautiful as is but I know you'd end up adding even more to it. I hope you're doing well Jamie!

Hi Evrth! I hope you are keeping well! I’m happy this track evokes such a positive reaction! 🖤 I tried a couple different things with the synth section and realised that more synths were the answer 😅 it helped everything around it breathe and helped add contrast for the duduk wood flute and the female vocal line. Thank you for your kind words… truly. You’ll be pleased to know that Give has been on the list for a little while now so will be coming up pretty soon - I believe there are a few other ST tracks to come first but it’s not too far away! That rumble at 1:01 gives so much depth and heaviness. That backing vocal at 2:07 is *chefs kiss*. When that chorus kicks in at 2:22 gave me shivers. That string arrangement in the post chorus instrumental is heavenly. This is your best work yet sir, which I'm pretty sure I say with every Sleep Token video you post, but honestly you keep getting better and better. The time and effort you put in to this really shines through on this effort. I think everyone would agree that we need a "Sleep Token: Live At Royal Albert Hall" in real life. Great job dude hope all is well on your end.

I’m honestly surprised the idea of a Royal Albert Hall gig hasn’t already been thrown around… I hope they do one day though - it would be interesting to hear the differences between their performances against my renditions! I’ve been wanting to make a band for the past year and the way you mix the orchestra and the metal together is exactly the sound I’ve been wanting to go for since I first had the idea to start the band. This sounds amazing and I’d love to know the libraries you use for all of your orchestral stuff

Hi DapperDile! I’m happy to have had a positive influence! I use a multitude of libraries but mainly Spitfire Symphonic strings, woodwind and brass. There are some Zimmer libraries for percussion as they’re nice and big. I do also use the BBC Symphonic libraries too but for continuity’s sake I’ve stuck with the Spitfire symphonic libraries for these. I hope this helps!

You do a killer work on all tracks, but when it comes to Sleep Token, i don't know why but there is some sort of extra depth of perception to your arrangement. Hey Berty! I hope you’re keeping well! You’re correct - the flute you heard is a wooden flute called a Duduk! My approach does differ from artist to artist as I try to serve the music instead of indulging in more deep personal note and instrument choices. I do feel though that because of the dynamic range of Sleep Token the options of instruments and just overall utilisation of the orchestra becomes more broad compared to other bands.
