Sleep Token - The Offering REACTION & REVIEW! FIRST TIME HEARING!

After the first few moments of the song, David says: _When I hit that play button and I heard that, and I'm sitting there going, "Oh, no. Oh, no. It's one of these."_ A few minutes later: _I got no problem with this song. I'm enjoying it, it's not my favorite, but it's top three._ Less than 2 minutes later: _You know this, this.... this is becoming my new favorite._ Literally, less than one minute later: _I take it back. This is my new favorite._ Haha! I love it! The journey you had on this track is like a microcosm of what is becoming your journey with Sleep Token in general. That was great to see. However, about the instruments: I hate to say this, David, but I'm gonna have to stop you right there. Those instruments you were questioning? No, man. They're the real deal. Is there some digital? Yes, but that's only the keyboard that Vessel (who is the singer) is playing. The guitar, bass and drums, though? Those are straight-up analog goodness. Vessel also plays on the recording the guitar and bass, while the drums, as you should know by now, are also real and are played by II. I wonder what made you think the instruments weren't legit, especially since the other two tracks you've enjoyed ("Fields of Elation" and "Higher") had a similar setup which was mostly analog and some digital. Whatever made you think so, I can assure you that there are no digital smoke and mirrors with the guitar, bass and drums, just good old-fashioned musicianship. Aside from that misunderstanding, I did enjoy the video. And the last minute score update was the cherry on top! Even after you stopped listening to it, "The Offering" just kept getting better and better! Again, like the band, Sleep Token, itself.

I first heard Sleep Token back in 2018 with their song Jaws, which at the time intrigued me but didn't hook me in totally. Then, a while later, I heard this song, The Offering, and I was totally hooked. It still holds a special place for me, and I love II's drumming on this song. As you listen more to Sleep Token, you will notice that they do this drop and slow build with a lot of foreshadowing in their songs! Great reaction. Stay safe 🤘 ✌️

Great to see the Sleep Token scores going up and up with each video as predicted. There are some absolutely insane tracks in their repertoire, and we've barely scratched the surface

This is my favorite sleep token song and one of my favorite songs in general-one of the few 10/10s for me in music. Enjoyed the reaction. Looking forward to seeing more.

Hopefully the previous reactions haven’t put people off clicking future Sleep token videos. This album is really where they take off. And it only gets better from here!

This was the very first song I heard from Sleep Token and I was blown away from Vessel's vocals and the instrumental in this song. Had on repeat for quite some time lol

They've never said they were metal. They specifically said to not get lost in genres. They write soundscapes and go hard live.

Ohhhhhhh you finally started doing the good Sleep Token songs, I do not know if you remember me but I left a comment before in one of your Sleep Token reactions saying that those songs were ok, but they became MUCH better later on, I guess you now understand what I meant....Another great Song from them, I have to say that I like Higher ( One of my favourite ST songs) more than this one but they DO represent the Sleep Token I was talking about, the more musically matured version of II and Vessel....
