I have had 8 240's, spent $1000 total for the last 4 of them. One of the best things about them for the Volvo cult has been affordability and mechanical simplicity. They changed very few things in the 19 years they were produced making parts very interchangeable. Videos like this drive the price up, but can't say I mind because the more of these that get saved from junkyards the better. Probably selling one soon so thanks Donut for helping hype these beautiful bricks. :)

So far this is the best video you have done Nolan. Much smoother and better on camera. Seems like you were truly digging this car.

I used to have a 2002 v70 turbo wagon. I got it cheap as a family car. I let it overheat though. Since then, I’ve learned to care for my vehicles. Just got an old 1988 240 DL sedan today. Already looking to repaint and pamper it with some nice work.

US spec headlights make me ill. Headlights should be either round, square or rectangle. I have the last ones in my 88' 240😎🤙🇫🇮

I have glass E codes on my 88, + all black trim (a lot of plastic, its a special edition "GL Gentleman"). Id love to find a flat hood and round headlights set... Or I could mod it and go for a custom style idk..

volvo were so great up until 1998 when they stopped the 940 series. Some of the best and reliable cars you can get.
