I also have a 5 speed manual 2001 accord lx sedan. Mine is at ~245,000 miles. Just replaced the clutch cylinders, but the car still works well.

I have a 2001 Accord LX that I took over after my mother past away,I started modifying it by adding Ultra racing upper strut bar,coilovers to get a stance that I want,up graded my rear upper camber kit with SPC,rear lower and upper control arms,a rear subframe bar,up graded the front toe bushings,installed AEM cold air intake,up graded radiator hoses,painted my valve cover to match the radiator hose light blue,upgraded my tail lights to LED,front blackened out headlights,JDM side markers,front lip,canards,custom carbon fiber hood by Vis racing,side door window visors and rear window,rear skirt with a defuser tucked underneath,custom exhaust with a Vibrant muffler that sounds deep tone,last of all Enkei J10 18X7 + 35 off set oh and PowerSlot rotors,those are all my mods,sorry didn't upgrade the motor but it's my daily cruiser,any questions feel free to leave a comment.

@@zdgzr the only way you can get a deep exhaust is by the size of the pipe,I have 2 1/2 inch pipe going from the cat to the muffler and the muffler I have is a Vibrant it's a stealthy black color and it does sound good.

This is 1 of my 4 cars that i own my mods are very similar, I have 2006 M3 highly modified but I still love driving my accord because 1 I can put 10 bucks of gas and it will last a week. 2 the car sounds amazing in tunnels.

Even with i vtec, the later k24 accords have much more tuning potential. People seem to be slapping turbos on them all the time in the US.

Honda's generally don't need a tune. They are fun by default. Especially the 2000's. Definitely drive one. The feeling is what they have shown in the video. He also speaks about how he has been a NA virgin.
