I tried all weekend to go flawless and finally did it last night. Still had 2 mercies. I tried a lot of weapons but Tarrabah did it for me. I won a few 3v1s because of Ravenous Beast. It got left behind but people forget that Ravenous Beast does crit damage on body shots. I used Precious Scars for heals and also got quite a few Consecration double and triple kills. Tarrabah performed for me this weekend and i wasnt even using Peacekeepers

@@moostacho4300you don’t need to raid to earn it. You can get easy spoils on all 3 characters each week. First chest of vow solo, crota first chest with lfg team just to get to it, first two chests of vault of glass again just lfg it no mic easy. Thats 60 spoils a week in like 30 minutes if you do it with someone and just swap between checkpoints between each others characters. You’d have it in four weeks without doing actual raid mechanics or groups

I used Tarrabah and same, but I was using path of the burning steps exotic to stack the free radiant. Only takes around 300-330 dmg to get ravenous beast too. Get first kill then poke at people and you will have rav up. Ez

Funny you mention that: Ever notice how Sidearms with the same model as "Spoiler Warning" or "Enigma's Draw" look like a Glock if you removed the sights? The little divots where the sights WOULD be on the Glock are actually modeled on these sidearms as well. The Keening and HeliocentricQsc also share this model but with some attachments. And of course no trigger guard because Destiny.

I used mostly sidearms when I went into trials over the weekend. They definitely helped me a ton and got my first Adept ever in trials. Used the persistence card and damn it felt good to get the last 3 wins. Those last three were brutal.

I just checked my Vault and I have a Boudica that survived my Vault cleaning. It have Extended barrel, Ricochet Rounds, Threat Detector and Multi-Killclip with a range masterwork. I am definitely going to give it a try once I get off work today.

Great video. Loved my boudica back in the day. Might have to pull it out and see how it hangs. On the frenzy note, for hunters, frenzy on a cqc weapon instantly gets more uptime IMO. Gemini Jesters in CQC. Ping em behind walls, the damage tick can proc frenzy, free damage on a radar ripped enemy no kill required. Boudica doubles down on this with threat detector. Giving you a literal yes or no value on whether you will be ripping radars on the dodge. The build is subclass agnostic so pair with your preferred flavor of hunter. Void with the better dodge animation and invis/radar manip, strand with the clones, arc for lethal current to solidify your cqc, stasis for slow dodges. Not to mention threatdetectors range also guarantees a gamblers dodge melee refund.

Thanks TV, you inspired me to pull out my favorite Boudica... Lol it might not be considered a god roll to some. But it's an extended barrel.. ricochet rounds with hipfire grip and gutshot straight. I know those perks counter each other but I have a freehamd grip on it and hot swap for my secondary rifle that has disruption break. If I ever feel like my hipfire shots are off on a fast move target. I know even if I am down sight I will get a little more body shot dmg. Should I miss the head. In this sand box. I know we are punished more for body shot. But it's such a spammy weapon. I like knowing I get that extra ten percent on top of the 50 percent should I get my disruption break perk active when I break shields. 😅

I've got one that I've been using since the Red War that has over 200 pvp kills (maybe more being I forget sometimes to switch the kill tracker over) on it, that's flown under the radar (at least for me)... full bore, RR, ambitious assassin, surrounded, with a reload MW. Granted, it's not for everyone, but it works wonders for me.... especially when I equip a quick access sling or targeting adjuster weapon mod.

@@CarriesOnTop I really hate the auto buffs man. HCs can get out dueled by Autos at any range in the open, and if you're not REALLY good at landing peak shots you just get dumpstered. Autos are one of the easiest/most consistent weapons, and now everyone uses them since their buffs, and it's just so annoying to play against. I threw on QS for a match, and it was so much easier, but it's just less fun/satisfying than a HC.

Btw, if you plan on using the Boudica as a close quarters secondary like I am, I believe frenzy is the way to go because it can proc while stowed. Meaning the +100 handling boost you can get from frenzy make it a quicker swap option.

For what it's worth, Anti-Barrier Sidearm is also contributing to the barricade-disintegrating ability. You can see your sidearm glowing red in the footage. That's having a bigger effect on your barricade damage than the Hakke intrinsic is. Granted "next season" is still forever away, but when it comes this sidearm won't feel as good as it does now for this specific purpose.

My ol' reliable swift verdict still has the full auto perk. It was the only roll I ever got with Kill Clip. Even with a dead perk in the third slot, it's still my #1 favourite primary for crucible. Just imagine if it got a refresh with the new origin trait. A man can dream...

I used this sidearm some this weekend and yes it's good but I usually stuck with travelers chosen or the stasis sidearm with headseeker. I had many rounds where I killed all 3 enemy just with travelers chosen and I loveit. Once I got my adept summoner I used travelers chosen with summoner most of Monday. I got zen moment kill clip on adept summoner with 70 range and its nasty. Kill clip is amazing.

Yeah, the trials experience is looking rough. I was using vigilance wing with heliocentric and the Athrys’s Embrace, and it’s a great loadout, but wow were there so many time were even when paired with a 2-stack that there was always one person sitting in spawn not contributing, and the other running off to the other side of the map not doing anything helpful

No way. I love this pistol and it's my go to in pve. I just checked my role, and realized I got your suggestion (hammer forged, ricochet, and multikill clip) with the exception of having threat detector. Sadly, I do have a handling masterwork. I will ask, do you suggest knucklehead radar or mechaneers tricksleeves? I am more of a long range, usually running pulse sniper, but I second with bow sidearm. The thing is, I haven't used exotics in pvp in a while, so I don't know what's best. I only use oath keepers when on bow, because I use wishender for the true sight.

TV, you should really give armamentarium titan with grapples a try. You can play like strand hunter but still have barricade. You can really go off with double lightweight weapons. I've been running it with heal clip kill clip heliocentric and eye of the storm cascade point taraxipos. You can play crazy agressive and it's so much fun.

Häkke precision sidearms are one of my favourite archetypes in the game. I kept an old Minimum distance in my vault for years until we got the Boudica. Too bad they're only available for the kinetic slot and I can't use it with my favourite weapons.

I was using the Boudica myself this weekend, mainly because I saw a lot of people pick up the Cryostesia and tried it myself but just didnt like the exotic gameplay. Picked up a few Boudicas and just had some fun in trials farming 3 Persistence keys this weekend. As fantastic as Boudica feels I must say, the only thing plaguing it is its really bad perk pool. Hip fire grip and Moving Target are nice, but that 4th collum is EXTREMELY mid. The only reason it stays really good option is the ease of focusing at vendor and the fact there really are no good competitors in the game. Hope they add some new equally clean designed precision side arm like it. Love the look and hakke is super nice for breaking my fellow titans barricade, but would gladdly give for some better perk combos.

I was a huge fan of Hakke sidearms in D1, mainly the Jabberhakke-D. I have been waiting for a legendary Hakke sidearm in D2 for a while. Then this beauty came. I have a terrible roll, but it has almost 500 crucible kills. Base stats alone, the weapon is reliable and consistent. It's actually my favorite "secondary" weapon.

Hip fire grip is also a good one to keep. It matches your range to ads range and gives you stability and aim assist. Definitely worth keeping just to try it out.

I found out how good this sidearm is a few weekends ago before the change. My roll was AP rounds, Hipfire, and Frenzy. Hipfire provides a unique experience along with being reliable in the air while shredding barricades. I'll have to grind another roll but this sidearm is pretty fun.

I’m not a trials player, I’ve loved the Boudica since it came out, and I went solo flawless this last weekend for the 3rd time. I had Boudica in my hand for the entire card when I went flawless.
